Last game in CSFL

The Knights last game against Collis Roofing in CSFL resulted in a win by way of forfeit from the opposing team.

The knights will play Surge next Tuesday in round one of the CSFL tournament! Your continued support is greatly appreciated :)

The End of the Season

This Tuesday, the Knights played the Suncats in CSFL.

The Knights played with a lot of heart and skill, putting together some amazing plays and combinations, but were unable to finish. Tracy DiSevo scored in the first half by finishing a great cross. The final scoreboard was 1-1 but this does not nearly reflect how the game was played. From here, the knights learned some things they need to improve on, but over all our possession and skill was over the top!

Its been a victorious week!

The games that were played on Tuesday March 18 and Friday March 21 showed the true spirit of the knights!

Tuesday's game was played against one of the most competitive teams in this women's league, and was a real fight for the women's club soccer team. Coming back from a previous loss, the Knights played together amazingly well connecting their passes, taking incredible shots and just playing with their hearts. With three goals scored in the first half against the opposing team by Sumiko Alana and Tanya Belt with an assist by Danielle Paliga, the club team was pumped full of confidence. As the game wore on, the opposition was able to score two goals, although goal keeper Sabrina Rivera made a few notable saves. Despite this, the knights held onto their lead and earned a well deserved victory!!

Friday night showed that the women's club soccer team IS capable of scoring, and that they are quite talented at it! The knights played a strong game that included a lot of beautiful crosses and creative shots. With an ending score of 6-0 this sure was a confidence booster for the knights, even though they are improving by leaps and bounds weekly! Goals were scored by Kimmy, Danielle, Jamie, Lindsey and Tanya. This win helped to finish off a great week for the knights who are eagerly looking forward to two more season games next week!

First make-up game of the season!

The last few games for the women's soccer club have been cancelled unfortunately, due to the thunderstorms that decide that Tuesday is the best day of the week to happen.

Despite this small setback, the knights were ready to get back into action Friday night and shake their rust off. The game was full of intensity and focus on both sides, with the knights putting together creative combinations and dominating field play. In the first half, the opponents were able to score three goals, but the second half was a different story! The knights pulled their defense together and there was communication all around the field. Tanya Belt helped to revive the knights with an amazing goal. Despite the lose, the knights really improved their communication and composure. Teams better watch, for there appears to be no limit on the potential of these knights!
