Nationals result

The Knights came home winless from their fist National tournament at the University of West Florida, Pensacola. Their first game against GA Tech was very close, with each team tying it up one after another 3 times, but the extreme wind conditions caught the best of the Knights and lost the win. The second game was played against U. Cal later that evening in 30 degree weather plus a wind chill! The Knights could not over come the extreme weather and added another loss to the record, Cal however did go onto the finals of the entire tournament. The Knights started fresh the next day against Towson, and would not go home defeated. They held Towson to a 0-0 tie after a very aggressive and physical match. Towson had beaten GA Tech, and lost to Cal only 1-0 in previous play, so the Knights were proud of their tie.

It was an extremely fun and rewarding trip, and we thank all of our supporters and the Sport Club Council to help us make our first entrance into Nationals. The Knights will work a hard to travel to next years Nationals!
