Knights vs. Surf

The Knights played their final regular season match in the Central Florida Soccer league Tuesday night against the Surf. It was a hard fought match with shots on goal being about equal for both sides. At half the score was Knights 2, Surf 3 with goals from Kim Foster and Tanya Belt. But, the Surf was able to capitalize early in second half with a couple of goals while the Knights could only answer with one more goal from Tanya Belt, and 2 shots that bounced off the cross bar from Shanna DiNobile, for a final score of Knights 3, Surf 5. The Knights finish the season in second place, giving them a first round bye in the tournament beginning next Tuesday.

They will play again April 14th against University of Miami at 3pm, and then return home for their first play off game April 17th at 8pm at Central Florida Winds.
