Fall Tryouts

It's that time again... back to school time, and hooray, back to soccer time!

Fall Tryouts will be held August 28th (Monday) and August 31st (Thursday) from 5 to 7pm at Jay Blanchard park, at the fields closest to the entrance from Rouse Road. These try outs are MANDATORY no matter if you've played previously or not. If you are unable to attend do to class you must contact me before hand.

Our UCF fields will be under maintenance at this time so they are unavailable, but practice will be held regularly beginning September 7th (Thursday) at 7pm on the Intramural Fields behind Academic Village.

The first CFSL game will be September 12 at Central Florida Winds Soccer Complex, most likely at 8pm. We will have a game every Tuesday after that until Thanksgiving break. This is not a lot of time to get the team rolling so its important during these first couple of weeks that everyone attends practice as much as possible.

Also during tryouts we will discuss club dues, nationals, and some traveling games. I hope everyone has one great last month of summer, try and hit the gym! Thanks everybody.

About Us

The Women's Soccer Club at UCF*, Knights, is a competitive soccer team sanctioned by the Student Government's Sports Club Council at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. We are members of the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association and also compete locally in the Central Florida Soccer League at Central Florida Winds Soccer Complex.

In addition to league play, we compete against other college clubs including the University of Florida, Florida State University, Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, University of Miami, Georgia Technical and Georgia Southern University, and many others. We travel to tournaments and national competitions on a regular basis.

Due to the higher level of play, club soccer team members are not permitted to play in soccer intramural games held on campus, but can play in any other sport.

Practices are held weekly at the club fields behind Academic Village.

We hold try outs at the beginning of every semester to determine the team members, however if you have missed these try outs anyone is welcome to attend a practice to try and win a spot on the team or to watch to see if the team is right for them.
